How We Work

The Process:

• We work with local Edina businesses to use a portion of their wall space in high traffic areas for our galleries. Galleria Edina, Southdale Center and Braemar Arena are our anchor spaces.

• We curate, print and install the art galleries. We use a professional printer and a professional installer to hang the art.

• Some of our gallery art sources include: Edina grade schools, the Edina Art Center, Edina High School, the Edina Community Center, clubs, churches, sports groups, local professionals and hobbyists.

• We also scour the hashtag #ArtofEdina on Instagram looking for new talent to feature.

• Hand-created art such as paintings, drawings, etc. are reproduced (scanned and printed) for our galleries. We do not display the originals.

• All art is displayed for a minimum of 3 months.

• We typically install art twice a year per location.

• All selected Artists are invited to the official launch party where they receive recognition and a bit of swag at the official launch party.

• Artists sometimes are recognized through our media partner channels. Previous artists have been interviewed on Kare 11, MSP Magazine, and featured in Edina Magazine!
